Most cell phones have a display that is about 20 characters wide and can be measured with the series of numbers at the top of this page. Some cell phones have a limit of 2,500 characters to a page. Images are handled differently by most phones but small 16bit x 16bit images work best and are able to convey enough information to get a message accross.
